Lodges has developed a European Package in partnership with The World Famous Cats on the
Red located in Lockport Manitoba
Be greeted at the Air Port when you arrive in Winnipeg Manitoba and be
shuttled to the Lodge in Lockport Manitoba. You will have a chance to settle in
to your accommodations before sitting down to a hardy dinner and an evening of
shore fishing for monster Carp and Channel Catfish.
The Red River is known for it its world class fishery and you can experience
it for 5 days.
Day 1 shore fishing for Monster Cats and Carp while exploring the flora
and fauna of the Red River Valley
Day 2 Will be spent with your guide in a 16 foot boat as you pursue
monster cats and carp on the Red River
Day 3 will be spent with your guide fishing from a 24 foot pontoon boat
as your guide cooks a five course meal and keeps you positioned over the fish.
Day 4 Will be spent with your guide in a 16 foot boat as you pursue monster
cats and carp
Day 5 Will consist of a tour of the red river via 24 foot pontoon boat.
You will leave the lodge and head up river passing through the locks at Lockport
and start by explore the history of Lower Fort Gary Trading Post, Selkirk Boat
Museum, and Continue to the Forks of the Red and Assiniboine River in downtown Winnipeg. Visit
the shops and explore the history of western Canada’s oldest city
Day 6 You will board a Charter flight at Winnipeg airport and head to
our Airstrip in the center of North Americas 7th largest freshwater
lakes. You will be out fishing with your Woodland Cree guide for trophy Pike,
Trout and Grayling by 11 am
Day 7, 8, 9 you will explore the 1.4 million acres of water, experience
the history, the flora and fauna and the culture of your guide. 5 course meals,
log cabin accommodations fish from new 18 foot boats and experience northern Canada
firsthand while searching for monster Pike and Lake Trout
45 inch plus fish are not uncommon
Day 10 you will return to Winnipeg via charter flight
The European Package is all inclusive and all transportation, meals accomidation, boat guides and fuel are included for $3495 USD Taxes not included
