Nature’s wonders
Reindeer Lake is known for some of the best trophy fishing in Canada, but there is a lot more to experience than just the fishing alone. Guests from all over the world come to see and experience the ecotourism side of Reindeer Lake as well. With an abundance of untouched natural environment and living skies, your surroundings will stimulate your senses and make you appreciate nature in all its glory.

THE NORTHERN LIGHTS
The Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, are something everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. Our remote location on Reindeer Lake is great for seeing this light show. The complete lack of light pollution allows us to see incredible starry night skies.
The Northern Lights can be seen most clear nights but the most intense lights happen only occasionally when the sun produces significant solar activity which interacts with the earth’s magnetic fields. When planning your trip for the best viewing of the Aurora Borealis there are times where you can increase your chances of seeing a good show. First of all, plan for when there is the least amount of moonlight and later into the summer season when there are less hours of daylight. Be prepared to stay up until at least midnight and as late as 3 a.m. for the best viewing.
